The only character besides Tad and Adam left on the show that I like and now the actress is leaving.
Does anyone have a picture of the new Babe? If its any thing like the Greenlee recast it's not going to be good. |

I didn't know they were going to recast... It's hard to picture someone else in the role... and I agree about the Greenlee recast -- if that's any
indicatio then it doesn't look good.

I have never watched AMC but I think it was this story I read in SOD that they're doing one of those idiotic recasts where the current Babe will be hugging
someone and when she pulls away it'll be the recast Babe. So going from that alone, it can't possibly work. Recasts that quick (and stupidly done)
almost never work. There's no time for the fans to adjust.

The greenlee recast has grown on me. Why couldn't they send the character to Africa with Jamie?

The Babe recast moment is available on youtube. I think you need to type in "AMC 10/08/07 " in the search to find it. It took some digging for me to
get it, and I didn't favorite or bookmark it so I can't give you the direct link, unfortunately.
It was a clever way to recast. I only saw nuBabe for a scene or two, but i wasn't impressed. She seemed more a 'regular' soap young lady, whereas Alexa's babe was distinctive. But it's hard to tell from one scene what the actress can do. I don't watch the show anymore, so I don't know how she's been these past few days. I'm THRILLED Alexa is off to better work. She's good. The show was not. |

She'll take some getting use to. I liked her as Jolene the killer nurse on Night Shift. I wish they would put her with Wes/Richie already.

I think she is doing okay so far. I'm not thrilled with the character the majority of the time anyway.

One of the things that made Babe likeable was the fact that Alexa Havens was a good actress.
