I'm surprised this one isn't posted yet! Megan
McTavish has been fired by AMC. No word on who the new HW
is or when they take over.
You can go to the Soapnet site to get official word- this one is no rumor (like the others were the past few years). So, too little, too late? |

Too little too late. Unless they kill off Babe,
Annie and Ryan, I won't be watching. Now this is a step
in the right direction. They need to bring back Brooke
somehow. Did I mention killing off babe by putting her in
a blender? Maybe not that extreme but damn she annoyed me
today.

Too little, too late, for me too, Timmy. I'm
following the show on the boards.. but even that less and
less. My fav character is gone (david) but so are so many
others who were part of the dynamic that made PV
"real" and made it 'work' to me. I
loved Brooke, too.
It sounds like, from further comments, AMC is still trying to redefine itself and go for more youth stories and grab that "youth market". I truly think what they are doing doesn't grab any youth. It alienated my teens (one is actually about to leave teenhood for twentysomething) awhile ago. They stopped watching before I did.. the more the show tried to be "relevant to youth" the less it was. It was silly, like that school teacher who always tried to be "hip" but just ended up being absurd. And insulting. |

Someone on SOC said that Julia Barr had said this
was not true (someone from her fanclub) and Raven
clarified they were only rumors. So I'd not put too much
stock in it.
by the same token, you can never tell because of all the contract stuff and how quiet folks need to be. But I'd not expect her back. I hope she doesn't come back, at least under the current regime. The show is so bad and the focus so awful, I'd not want her back under those conditions. I miss Brooke, and I miss David, and I miss AMC (cuz i stopped watching) and I'd love to see them back and the show repaired... but it won't be with the current crew in place (and I don't mean just McT) |

Even if David and Brooke come back, The show won't
change. I watched it today for the first time in weeks.
Still the same old "Babe upset that JR will not
accept her taking Little Adam". Of course he
won't Dumbass!!!! Some things will never change. Now I
hear the show is trying to get the younger demographic.
Nothing says "young demographic" like
Colby looking like a whore and Kidnapping. Gee, That's
what I want to teach my kids, How to look like a whore
and steal babies and wreck marriages.

Well Colby could teach being a whore... But wait so
could Babe as I am a Whore 101 and Kidnapping 101,, How
not to have your mascara run 101 or better yet how to
sleep with my husbands brother 101 and than convince him
to kidnap my baby 101, And last but not least how to give
back the baby i stole 101..... Now am i missing any
classes?? Suggestions???
